A Return to Wholeness

Drawn to what lies beneath the surface of everyday life, Niamh explores memory, the body, nature, and the stories we carry. Her work begins with the moments that stay.

Moments have a way of staying with her. The colour of the sea before rain. The way light changes a room. The feeling of a place that stays long after she's left it. She returns to them again and again until they become something she can share with someone else.

Some of those moments become artwork. Others become sound and stories. She never begins with the form. She begins with whatever won't let go of her.

Alongside her writing and work on Insight Timer is hælu. Inspired by the belief that how we live shapes how we feel and named after the Old English word for wholeness, hælu is a place exploring the many things that shape our lives.

The Dreaming

Kind Words

"I haven't felt so calm in a long time. I felt cared for."

Kay, Edinburgh

"You have an amazing way with words and hit on everything I'm feeling now."

Steph, Insight Timer

"How is it that within one minute I am totally undone by your meditations? Over and over you speak to the ache in my heart. Crossing an ocean and virtual but nonetheless weaving a powerful connection with both your words and your music. Such gratitude."
